Learn moreHi, I’m Keely! Thanks for visiting my page. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. In the spring of 2023, I completed my Master of Education in School and Applied Child at the University of Calgary. Over the years, I have worked with individuals who have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, speech challenges, and social emotional concerns such as anxiety. In my work, I prioritize emphasizing and capitalizing on client strengths, while providing guidance to help students and their families persevere and overcome their challenges. I believe it is important to give students space to share their perspective on how things are going at school, at home, and with their friends. I make a point of asking students how they need to be supported and what strategies they think might work best for them. Additionally, I encourage students to ask questions during testing activities. I am happy to explain why we are doing certain tasks and what those tasks will tell me about their awesome brain. Further, I believe in having parents and guardians as involved as possible throughout the assessment process. Currently, I am working under the supervision of a registered psychologists while I continue to develop my clinical skills and work towards full registration.
