Psychological testing involves performing psychoeducational assessments for school coding to determine learning disabilities and average IQ. We use gold standard assessment tools in order to get the most valid and reliable results. We perform other psychological assessments for various psychological disorders such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other psychological/developmental disorders.

How does it work?

We use standardized procedures and the most up-to-date testing available to give the most accurate results. Our team is well-versed in being able to discuss and describe testing results and ensure that these results are used in the most beneficial way possible. Below is a breakdown of how assessments are booked.

General Psychoeducation Assessment (under 18-years-old):
·     1 hour intake with parent/legal guardians

·     4 hour testing sessions (split into 2 sessions)

·     6 hour report writing (done solely by clinician)

·     1 hour Report Summary and Conclusion Session

Additional requirements can include:

·     Parent and teacher forms

·     In-person observation (E.g. Classroom observation)

Psychoeducation Assessment with Autism Spectrum Disorder Testing:

·     1 hour intake with parent/legal guardians

·     6 hour testing sessions (split into 3 sessions)

·     2.5 hour interview with parents

·     8.5 hour report writing (done solely by clinician)

·     1 hour Report Summary and Conclusion Session

Additional requirements can include:

·     Parent and teacher forms

·     In-person observation (E.g. Classroom observation)

Gifted Assessment:

·     1 hour intake with parent/legal guardians

·     2 hour testing session

·     If criteria is not met, then the parents have a choice to have a       report written. If a report is needed it is an additional 2 hours of       clinician report writing.

·     1 hour Report Summary (if needed) and Conclusion Session

Adult Psychological Assessment: 

·     1 hour intake

·     Testing sessions and report writing to be determined

*Please note: All other concerns and questions will be addressed by your psychologist at the intake session.

What can I expect?

We offer Psychoeducational and Psychological Assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. These include Intelligent Quotient (IQ) testing, cognitive testing, adaptive function testing, and many other tests used to detect traits related to DSM 5-TR diagnoses. Common diagnoses include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, learning and intellectual disabilities, reading/math/writing disabilities, anxiety disorders and many others.

Our admin staff will organize the intake session with you and your psychologist, as well as send you all required forms prior to the intake session.

Fees

Fees include all sessions, observations, and report writing.

Billing Procedure:

Invoices are generated and processed for each individual session. Intake, report writing, parent interview, and discharge sessions can be billed under an attending parent or child's name. All testing sessions must be billed under the attending child's name. We do not direct bill for assessments.

·     General Psychoeducational Assessment (includes Attention        Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder assessment):

       $2700.00 approx.

·     Psychoeducational Assessment (with Autism Spectrum       Disorder assessment):

       $4275.00 approx.

·     Adult General Psychological Assessment:

       TBD at intake

·     Gifted Assessment:

       $1350.00 ~
